Hello Lewis, I am so sorry that you have been given a confused message by American Express and our card service provider. The team in Leeds are correct, the store does not currently take American Express cards. I am emailing the card service provider we use to ensure that the details are updated accordingly throughout our 7 branches as it appears they have different information listed for each store. We are looking to launch American express in January throughout all stores, this may be where the confusion has come from and I can only apologise that American express have miscommunicated things to you before the launch and roll out. Bit disappointed really. I was very happy to support a local business after spotting it on the American express shop small promotion online, I also checked the website as it lists American express as a valid payment method. In store when I went to pay I was told it was not accepted and they would not even try it because management had told them not to. This is a bit bizzare.

Wow what a truly tremendous shop - fantastic product range, not just soaps, all beautifully presented and wrapped. Very good value for high end beautiful soaps and bath surprised. Very impressed :)

Was not edible, thought it was. Ordered 5 bars for my family to eat as Sunday dinner, however turns out it was soap. I would not have expected this and I believe I have been mislead. Had to feed the leftovers to my cat, which promptly died.
